'Are You Falling In Love?' that's the name of the debut album of Atlanta based band Gold-Bears. A few seconds after the start of Record Store, track number 3 (roughly 5 minutes into the album) you get the question from the album name and have no doubts on screaming YES while jumping around to their music.
Gold- Bears could be the less polished, more rebel - but not less romantic - brother of The Pains of Being Pure At Heart. Or the son of Slumberland's earlier releases.
Punk, noise and pop. And -trust me - you falling in love.

Here's Jeremy and his top 7 inches of the year!
"This has been an amazing year for indie pop and the 7" single! While my band was fortunate enough to arduously record our debut lp for my favorite label of 20 years, I was still able to consume tons of records. This list could've been chock full of 7"s released on Slumberland Records. A few didn't make it for sake of keeping it diverse (Manatee and Terry Malts to only name two). Notwithstanding, this list reflects what I was excited about last year and what I cannot wait for in the coming year.
