Here's an 'Infomercial Teaser' for the album release. A preview of all the 10 songs from the new album can be heard throughout the almost 2 minutes of the video. For what we can hear, expect a more melodic and still noisy sound.
Yesterday, an intimate session for This is Fake DIY revealed two new tracks of the upcoming album and a revisit on 'Stone to Death' from their awesome 2nd album Sleep Forever (2010).
(bear with the 30 seconds ad before the actual session. It's worth the wait).

2011. BEST FOR GUESTS. 8 crocodiles
Crocodiles comes from San Diego, California. It's a duo, formed by Charles and Brandon and since 2008 they've been making a soaked, drenched mixture of shoegaze and noise pop.
Forget cuteness and sugary lyrics. A dark atmosphere surrounds their subjects. Their first single 'Neon Jesus' gives a pretty good idea of their universe: "I'm a stranger in the holy land but I keep my strangeness close at hand..."
Music filled with energy and unsettling loudness (music to dance ugly and loose consciousness of your body parts).
They have two albums released via Fat Possum: Summer of Hate (2009) and Sleep Forever (2010).

crocodiles. interview #26
Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowland are Crocodiles. They’re two friends from San Diego making energetic shoegazy-noise pop wth surfey krautrock feeling. It has hints of the noisy, most distorted phase of The Jesus and Mary Chain and some psychedelic flirtations with Spiritualized, Spacemen 3. But of course, it’s not only that.

‘Summer of Hate’, the debut album, came out in 2009 released by Fat Possum Records. I disagree with a lot of people that says that the album is too influenced by the bands mentioned before. Maybe the elements that would give more personality to their sound weren’t that present as in their subsequent album (‘I Wanna Kill’ and ‘Here Comes the Sky are a must hear!).
A few months ago, ‘Sleep Forever’, their second album was released. It has, indeed, much more personality than ‘Summer…’.
Songs like ‘Mirrors’, ‘Sleep Forever’ and specially ‘Hearts of Love’ are brilliant.
‘Hearts of Love’ has one of the best videos of the year and expresses perfectly what Crocodiles are: sunny and bright at first with an ‘evil’ and obscure atmosphere that slowly builds up.
Enough said, check our interview with Brandon:

music to see #10
another visual moment accompanied by some beautiful tunes.
my heart belongs to cecilia winter is a band from switzerland. their album 'our love will cut through everything' is beautiful. consider this an introduction to their music because they'll appear here in the future.
rita redshoes is from portugal and has a particular universe where she floats between bright colors, jazz, blues and indiepop.
crocodiles' 'hearts of love' is the perfect portrait of a shoegaze sunny day. really beautiful video.
